Madrid, 29 November: Marking 60 days to go until the first Hexagon Cup, the newcomer padel tournament is officially launching its ticket sales today, alongside revealing many of the big name players who will be taking to the court to excite fans.
The Hexagon Cup, set to take place at the historic Madrid Arena, from 31 January to 4 February, promises to deliver an unparalleled spectacle in the sport, showcasing the world’s best padel players. Tickets, available through Ticketmaster via www.hexagoncup.com start at just €20 euros for single-day passes, which provide access to the on-court action and exciting Fan Zone, with VIP passes available for the best gastro experiences.
Players revealed so far include Spanish superstars Paquito Navarro, who holds 25 World Padel Tour titles, was World Number One in 2019, and a World Champion with the Spanish National Team; and Alejandra Salazar, a six time-time World Champion with 52 World Padel Tour titles, as the event’s first confirmed players, with both set to represent the Hexagon Cup team as its franchise players.
The Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille, team has named Martita Ortega, currently ranked 4th in the FIP ranking, with 14 titles in her career and a two-time world team champion (2021 and 2022), and Alex Ruiz, a native of Malaga who holds the 13th position in the rankings, with two titles to his name, was a World Champion in 2021.
The RL9 team, by the Barcelona FC footballer Robert Lewandowski, Team AD/vantage co-owned by legendary tennis player Andy Murray, ElevenEleven Team USA, owned by U.S actress Eva Longoria, and Team Bella Puerto Rico team, backed by businessmen María Esteve and Carlos López-Lay, will name their players later today.

For the Game", the innovative Hexagon Cup padel project will see male, female and ‘next gen’ players combine with leading team owners from global sports and entertainment to compete for a share of an impressive one-million euro prize fund, creating an exciting new team competition.

Once all six teams have revealed their franchise player pairings, these players will select their four team mates; one male, one female, and two ‘next gen’ during the Player Draft, taking place later this week.
The tournament itself will see the six teams split into two qualifying groups. These two groups will do battle in a series of head-to-head matches over the first three days. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the Finals Weekend, where the inaugural Hexagon Cup champions will be crowned and claim the top share of the one-million-euro prize pot.
